The moment the new acting Zonal Director, Ibadan National Station, Mr Olufemi Fulani arrived at Radio Nigeria, Gold FM Ilesa for an official visit, the staff rolled out drums to give the august visitor a rousing welcome.
Upon arrival, the acting Zonal Director convened a staff conference during which he apprised them of the efforts of the national headquarters of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria to initiate operations on a medium wave frequency to cover the southwest.
Mr Fulani commended the efforts of the staff in collaboration with some individuals which resulted in the consistent broadcast of the station
In her welcome address, the General Manager of Gold FM, Mrs. Olukemi Oni, emphasized that the station's sustainability and existence hinge on the collaboration between the management and the good people of Ijesaland.
