An Old student of Methodist High School, Ilesa, Mr Shina Agbeluy gave the assertion during a health program for the host community and students of the school
Mr Agbeluyi who is the Chairman of 1982 SET Old Students’ Association of Methodist High School, Ilesa, emphasized that public schools have best hands when it comes to imparting knowledge in students for almost a zero fee than their counterparts in the private sector
He appreciated members of the his set for bringing free quality health to the door post of the teachers, parents and students of the school.
A member of the set, Mr Tunde Ogunrekun challenged students of the school who are direct beneficiaries of the support of the the old students to maximize the opportunities in pursuit of their academic careers.
He thanks the old students for renovating a block of three classrooms and two offices for the alma mater,
One of the beneficiaries, who is also a principal of the school, Mrs Oyetunji appreciated members of the 1982 set for giving back to their alma mater
Another beneficiary of the health outreach and also a teacher at the school Mrs Ceclia Falobi . reiterated the commitment of teachers of the school to sustaining the standard of the school and ensure best practice among the students in moral and academic obligations.
Highlight of the event was presentation of a recognition award to the immediate past National President of the OSAMETHSI, Engineer Dideolu Falobi and others for their dedication to the development of the schools
