The Owa obokun Adimula of Ijesaland, Oba Gabriel Aromolaran has urged the Federal Government to review the retirement age of Civil servants.
Oba Aromolaran made the call when he received the Management of Radio Nigeria, Ibadan Zonal Station, lead by the Zonal Director, Mr. Dominic Mokikan at his palace in Ilesha, Osun State.
Oba Aromolaran said it required the concerted effort of government and the host community to ensure proper funding of Gold fm and pray that speedy help will come its way.
Speaking on the past Zonal Directors, the Owa Obokun emphasized the need for the review of retirement age to enable the up and coming officers tap ensure effectively from the wealth of experience of the veterans
Giving his royal blessings to Mr. Mokikan, the monarch prayed for a successful tenure for the new Zonal Director .
In his message, the Obanla of Ilesa, High Chief Adeyinka Ibitoye urged Gold FM, to improve on on their programming by promoting culture and tradition of Yorubaland.
Earlier, the Zonal Director Ibadan, Mr. Dominic Mokikan appreciated the Owa obokun for his fatherly role and support to the development of Gold FM Ilesha.
While assuring of improved programme and n content of the station, Mr. Mokikan called for continued support of the monarch for enhanced educative and enlightenment programmes.
The new Zonal Director also paid homage to Elerinmo of Erinmo-Ijesa, Oba Micheal Odunayo Ajayi, where he solicited the continuous support of the monarch for a model tenure and accomplishments.
While praying God for a successful tenure for the new Zonal Director, Oba Ajayi advised Radio Nigeria to take advantage of its strength and improve on every cultural programme content to attract more listeners and patronage.
