FRCN WARNS AGAINST UNAUTHORIZED SALE OF HER PROPERTY

The Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) has issued a warning to the general public to exercise extreme caution when dealing with certain fraudulent individuals and groups attempting to sell or transfer ownership of a parcel of land belonging to FRCN, situated along Idi-Ape Bashorun Road, Ibadan, Oyo State, without requisite authorization from the Corporation.

In a statement signed by the Director-General, FRCN, Mohammed Bulama, the management advised the public to avoid engaging in any transactions with unscrupulous individuals or groups purporting to sell or transfer ownership of the said property, emphasizing that such transactions are unauthorized and illegal.

The statement highlights that the FRCN property, located along Idi-Ape Bashorun Road, Ibadan, Oyo State, has been designated for the new FRCN Medium Wave Transmitter, scheduled for installation this year, to ensure effective media coverage of the entire South Western region of the country.

According to the statement, the Federal Government has awarded the contract for the FRCN Medium Wave project for the South West as part of the present administration's plan to provide Nigerians with credible information.

The public is advised to exercise caution and verify the authenticity of any transaction involving FRCN property with the Corporation's management to avoid falling victim to fraudulent activities.

“WARNING:

- Do not purchase or attempt to purchase FRCN property from unauthorized individuals or groups.
- Do not make any payment or provide any form of consideration for FRCN property without verifying its authenticity with FRCN management.
