YERIMA ADVOCATES INTERNAL VIGILANCE TO TACKLE INSECURITY

A national chieftain of the APC,  Senator Ahmad Sani Rufai  also known as Yarima Bakura has called for internal vigilance by Nigerians at various gatherings against insecurity.

Reacting to the recent attack by unknown gunmen at Saint Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo State, Senator Yarima  condemned and described the incidence as unwarranted  massacre of innocent people by the agents of darkness.

The party chieftain in a statement by his media aide, Olumide Lawal, expressed dismay over the attack of  the congregants who met their untimely death in a tragic circumstance that sent jitters to the spines of other Nigerians.

He therefore implored the people to always be on guard and pool resources together for effective intelligence gathering to prevent crime and criminalities in the country.

The senator who is also the first executive governor of Zamfara State charged security agencies to arrest the perpetrators of the heinous crime at OWO for immediate prosecution.

Condoling the affected Catholic parish, the people of Owo and the families of the victims, he prayed for  the fast and complete recovery of those who sustained injuries during the incidence and receiving medical attention in various hospitals.

Senator Yarima also prayed for peace to reign in every part of the country.
